Used this with a 100AMP fuse to replace the power wire/fusible link on my 2005 Dodge Neon. I have not had any problems out of it since. It has been a few months. Dodge ran their power wire (looks like 8 or 10 gauge) from the starter, through the fusible link, around the engine block, down under the exhaust manifold, to the alternator. The battery got it’s power from the starter, essentially. Used this with CE’s 4 gauge power wire, and ran the wire along the firewall. Mounted this to the firewall, just above the cruise control box (if you don’t have this box, it’ll be easier). I was afraid of the fuse blowing from my 120AMP (potentially) alternator, but no problems yet.
